Marijus Masteika is an enterprise software architect with over 20 years of experience designing large-scale systems across financial services and telecommunications. He currently leads architecture for the Generative AI Adoption cluster at Danske Bank, where he architects enterprise agentic AI systems, establishes GenAI engineering standards, and drives AI adoption across the organisation.
At Danske Bank, Marijus initiated the bank's internal Generative AI platform, and has since structured and guided five cross-functional teams working on GenAI adoption.
Previously he served as lead architect for API security frameworks and premium API products at Danske Bank, and before that held senior architecture and DevOps roles at Telia.
His current focus is on the practical realities of building production-grade agentic AI systems in regulated enterprise environments.
