Dr. Remigijus Šimašius is the Chief Strategy Officer at Such Much AI, a Lithuanian startup building an AI-powered documentation platform for the EU public sector. He previously served two terms as the Mayor of Vilnius (2015–2023), as Lithuania’s Minister of Justice (2008–2012), and as the President of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, where he spearheaded national reforms in digitalization and the reduction of regulatory burdens. In addition to his corporate role, Dr. Šimašius is a Partnership Professor at Vilnius University, a Principal Advisor at the IRIDE institute, and Policy and Strategy Advisor. He holds a PhD in Philosophy of Law with a specialized focus on regulatory efficiency and legal effectiveness.
